Bridge2Bachelor’s program

See if earning a bachelor's degree from DeVry is the right path for you by taking a course through our Bridge2Bachelor's program. If you are a community college student currently pursuing your associate degree, you may be eligible to take a DeVry University course and earn college credit with no tuition, no fees, and all course materials included.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a current community college student in pursuit of an associate degree

  • Must have an interest in business and management, engineering and information sciences, media arts and technology, health sciences, or liberal arts and sciences

  • Must have a minimum CGPA of 2.50 from transferable college-level courses completed at a community college

  • Must meet DeVry’s admissions requirements

Are transfer students eligible for Pell grants and other financial aid?

Yes, transfer students are eligible for Pell grants and other financial aid, which can be determined by submitting a FAFSA® form. Your DeVry Admissions representative can also help you explore scholarships and other tuition savings options you may qualify for.

Can international students transfer credits?

Yes, international students can transfer qualifying credits to DeVry. To learn about eligibility and required documents, contact us and connect with one of our international student representatives.

Will all of my credits transfer and is there a limit?

Eligible credit transfers and limits depend on a variety of factors, including our established agreements with outside institutions, the grade you earned, your chosen program, and more. Talk to your Admissions representative for clarity on the potential transfer credit limits of your program.

Can I get credit for my military service and how does it work?

Yes, you can get course credit for qualifying military service. Depending on the program you choose, you may be able to transfer up to 90 credits of approved coursework (including military experience for which ACE provides credit recommendations) into a bachelor's degree program. For more information on how credit for military coursework and training experience works, please refer to the DeVry Academic Catalog or reach out to your Admissions representative.

Can online college credits be transferred?

Yes, qualifying online college credits can be transferred depending on your current college’s accreditation status, the transferring institution’s transfer credit criteria, and the program you’ve selected.

How do I know if my credits will transfer?

The best way to know if your credits will transfer is to submit your transcripts for evaluation. At DeVry, we take a comprehensive approach to reviewing your previous coursework — including assessing work experiences and other outside learning for credit eligibility. Our Admissions representatives can also give you information on your program’s credit criteria.

What GPA is too low for transfer?

At DeVry, our GPA requirements vary by program, and we consider a variety of factors when making admission decisions. We recommend speaking with your Admissions representative for clarity on program-specific GPA criteria. We can also help you review our articulation agreements if you’re transferring from a partnering institution or community college.
