Antigua and Barbuda Chamber of Commerce Limited and DeVry University Announce Educational Partnership

DeVry and ABCCL to host signing ceremony to celebrate the partnership

LISLE, Ill. – Dec. 1, 2025 DeVry University and the Antigua and Barbuda Chamber of Commerce Limited  (ABCCL) will host an event to announce a new partnership aimed at expanding access to education and global opportunities for Caribbean students. An official signing ceremony will be held Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m. ET.

The partnership, part of DeVry’s Caribbean Bridge to Brilliance initiative, will provide chamber members and the broader community access to DeVry University’s online certificates, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. With this collaboration, Antigua and Barbuda becomes the third Caribbean territory to join the initiative through a strategic workforce development partnership, following the St. Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association and the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

“It’s critical that we prepare all workers for a workforce driven by artificial intelligence,” said Scarlett Howery, vice president of Strategic Partnerships at DeVry University. “We are pleased to welcome ABCCL to our growing network of regional partners who are committed to strengthening workforce competitiveness and advancing access to educational and professional development. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in learners’ lives and build resilient global talent pipelines.”

Through this initiative, eligible learners will receive 50% tuition savings and a waived application fee. The program also offers flexible online learning options, allowing students to tailor their educational journey to their personal circumstances.

To celebrate this milestone, alongside Howery, elected officials, business leaders, ABCCL’s President Mario Colindres and Executive Director Martin Cave will be in attendance at the signing event.
