Devry University Student Athlete and Bronze Medalist Erin Hamlin Talks to KSEE-TV in Fresno

Throughout her life, Erin Hamlin was constantly introduced to new sports and outdoor activities. It wasn’t until the age of 12 that she channeled her natural athletic abilities into luging. Her determination, strength and ability paid off when this three-time Olympian won the bronze medal after four solid runs at the Sanki Sliding Center at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. Her historic performance led her to become the first U.S. singles luger to win an Olympic medal.

Erin is on the fast track off the ice as well. She is earning a bachelor’s degree in technical management with a specialization in sustainability management from DeVry University, an official education provider to Team USA.

In this interview with KSEE-TV in Fresno, Erin discusses what it's like to compete on the world's biggest stage and how she's planning for her life after the games.
